— “My child, I don’t want you to end up like me. I want you to study so you can have a better life,” Solange would always say.

Adelina took those words seriously.

She studied hard because she knew the sacrifices her mother was making for her.

But one day, illness struck Solange.

After weeks of being bedridden, she passed away.

After the funeral, Adelina felt like her world had collapsed.

Sitting alone at night, she cried:
